  INSTALLATION

  To install OSSP uuid into /path/to/uuid/ perform
  the following steps in your shell:

    $ ./configure
         --prefix=/path/to/uuid
        [--with-dce]
        [--with-perl[=/path/to/[bin[/perl]
         --with-perl-compat]]
        [--with-php]
    $ make
    $ make check
    $ make install [DESTDIR=/path/to/temp/root]
