that's likely because that's, uh, it? ю is effectively a merger of the йу digraph (same way as е is йэ, ё is йо, and я is йа)
Replying to @__eater__
there are some caveats to this (ё is /always/ stressed if it appears in a word so it doesnt ак, they drop down into the й-less versions if hardened (by ч, ш, ъ, &c.), …) and sometimes they don't merge (e.g. йогурт), but they're effectively a very strongly-binding phonemic equiv.
Replying to @__eater__
honestly? fuck if i know. there seems to be an archaic version where it акed to ягурт (presumably due to the archaic accent on the у vs the modern one on the о), but it's not like you pronounce it differently than you'd ёгурт and the weird accent placement matches it being ё, so
Replying to @__eater__
dunno, my best guess is it sucks to have ёгурт because you very often drop the umlaut when writing so you'd end up with егурт which sucks, so its йогурт instead, but

Replying to @nabijaczleweli
but also, to set the Old Button language to English, I have to *log in again*, with an /us/ redirect, but this is okay and returns me to the editor, with the button language updated. what this means i have no fucking clue
Replying to @nabijaczleweli
the thing with Old Buttons is that they're clunky, sure, but they do Just Work, for any account (the order on PayPal doesn't show the variant?), but they suck ass, with no additional shipping options, no text box (despite it being enabled!), and weird-ass order sizing behaviour
Replying to @sehetw
quota's on the filesystem level, because it's filesystem accounting. the wiki doesn't load (lol), but that problem is avoided because the filenames are the wall clock with nanosecond precision, with no counter until round 2 (I don't expect to ever see a filename ending with " 1")
Replying to @sehetw
but I did test it and it does actually fail with EDQUOT when the quota's exceeded, and I don't think it's remotely possible to actually get two requests with the same CLOCK_REALTIME (timezone shifts notwithstanding), especially on this beater-ass westmere system
