i think we're strictly limited by profit squeezing facilitated by the unique oligopoly you dont have with the PC platform anymore and not much else: modern platforms have OOB EFI, cards have dual-amd64/aarch64 payloads/QEMU-in-FW, all system software distributions support aarch64

why does TPM2_PCR_Read() let you specify the full bank (theoretical max of 16*32) of PCRs, but returns up to 8 with a list of the ones returned? why are there no TPM libraries that aren't direct FFI into the funny computer and could retry this?
