[eternal barbie voice] FreeBSD was too annoying, let's install Debian.

OMV installer refused to talk to my NICs for no apparent reason.
Only the Debian netinst image told me it didn't have the drivers.
A gargle and firmware pack later it's installing, and I'm still less annoyed?

a 6GB base64 also decodes to an invalid gzip so maybe the gzip on the device itself is fucked?

4 hours and just under 11G of B64 later, which means that the device-side gzip is probably definitely fucked

as a fun byproduct, the first invocation completely filled up my /data with the supersu log, which (tried to) contain the entirety of the "gzip"'s output lol

how does it happen that most-everything respects the theming or at least has a setting, but the default, mainly comms apps (dialer, email, messaging, eleven) are permanently brilliant white? what drives that design decision?

Found a few of these in a box marked HD44750 W16 in wax pencil.

The seals say COND CSE 26 RELEASE and R9950P1 1278.

Is this an arifact? Am I about to fucking die?

One'd assume the foam was white(ish) at time of manufactury, right?

Why would any body pack what looks like an IC this way? You don't normally, like, make a box, profile foam to fit the protrusion in the carrier, and seal the thing unless it costs a sizeable amount of money?
