These haven't worked for helping the export along (probably because I don't understand them), but! it turned out I've been using 2.3, and after building from master, the geometry is exported without problems! Thank you for the support!

Getting negative stickout on the across rods, despite factoring in over 2.5 on both sides, guessing I took off a lot with a file afterward (but not over 6, surely?)
OTOH the coupled forth rod has a good 8-9 extra stickout but I've managed to shift it to the backside so it's fine

It's some OSB we used for kitchen counters in a meantime, a crucial component because it was in the basement.
It's not the prettiest, nor the goodest, I'll definitely grant you that, but it was free and getting something equivalent from the shops would at least triple the cost :v
